The Ocean View School Site Council (OV-SSC) needs you!
Sign up to be:
- Community Volunteers… do misc jobs for a specific teacher (or any teacher)
- Laminating Team… laminate projects left by teacher
- Copier Team.. photocopy materials for teachers
- Bulletin Boards Team… update the bulletin boards
- Watering/Gardening Team… beautify the campus… and facilitate gardening programs
- Special Project Club… take on a project at OV
- Library Volunteer… work with OV Librarian to restock shelves and other misc duties
The Schools Site Council (SSC) work with the principal, the teachers, other school staff and students in an advisory role to develop and refine the school improvement plan to best meet the needs of students school-wide.
To volunteer or to get more information, please contact the Chairperson, Norton Mitchell (Preston’s Dad)… check out the bulletin board next to the office entrance.

Fun-Facts about the chairperson: He had 2 other kids that graduated from OV.
Lived or worked in Albany since 1995.
He is also the “Sr. Chief Laminating Engineer” and “Photocopying Extraordinaire”
